A crafty 5 minutes

I only had a quick craft today, re-making a bridesmaid dress for a friend. I took off a sash in one colour, and made a new one in pink, along with a cute little flower in the same fabric .... it is too cute! Hopefully the little one wearing it will enjoy it.
I've got a long list of things I want done over the summer holidays, and hopefully I'll be able to get a few of them sorted:
  • Finish cutting and piecing the squares for my quilt and then quilt a few squares (my batting arrived this week!) Then it might get finished before the Christmas deadline.
  • Make a 'range' of girls dresses, and get them photographed nicely
  • Investigate some more patterns for dresses - I'd like to try some shearing elasticated dresses.
  • Investigate boy's clothes .... other than t-shirts and trousers/shorts I can't really think of anything creative, so need to find some suitable patterns and get trying them out.
  • Get some dolls made for the miniature dresses that I have planned to be given away with the dresses - might ask my Mum to get involved at this stage....
  • Borrow a dress form to get some clothes made for me!
A lot of work planned, and we're away for 3 of the 6 weeks!!!  but hopefully I'll be able to spend some of that time on projects. Roll on a summer of crafting.
