The beginning .....

This is the beginning of my blog, although I have been crafting since we moved to Cardiff in September when I started working 4 days a week as a secondary Science teacher and needed something to do on my day off ... so my grandmother bought me a sewing machine and I've got a little addicted!

I've made toys and dresses for all my nieces, and have started quilting as a challenge with a few friends. Every new project has taught me a new technique.

I've recently got a little obsessed with finding fabric in charity shops, and turning pillowcases or tableclothes into something fabulous and wonderful.
I have now decided to think about doing this a little more seriously.... could I do this properly????
